Please read these terms carefully before using LinkFace

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LinkFace ("the Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and LinkFace. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

LinkFace is a social networking and learning platform that allows users to:

  • Connect with other users and build professional networks
  • Create and share content, including posts, images, and videos
  • Create, enroll in, and participate in educational courses
  • Share skills, knowledge, and expertise
  • Join groups and participate in events
  • Search for jobs and post job opportunities
  • Build and showcase portfolios

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Registration

To use certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
  • Maintain the security of your password
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

3.2 Account Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use LinkFace. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 13 years of age
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
  • You are not prohibited from using the Platform under applicable laws
  • You have not been previously banned from the Platform

3.3 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree not to share your password with others or allow others to access your account.

4. User Conduct and Content

4.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform in a lawful and respectful manner. You agree NOT to:

  • Post, share, or transmit any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
  • Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state your affiliation with any person or entity
  • Post content that infringes on intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of others
  • Spam, phish, or engage in any fraudulent or deceptive practices
  • Harvest or collect information about other users without their consent
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or servers connected to the Platform
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Platform without permission
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
  • Upload viruses, malware, or other malicious code
  • Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law

4.2 Content Ownership and License

You retain ownership of content you create and post on LinkFace. However, by posting content, you grant LinkFace a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

  • Use, reproduce, modify, and display your content on the Platform
  • Distribute your content to other users as part of the Platform's services
  • Use your content for promotional purposes related to the Platform

This license continues even if you stop using the Platform, until you delete the content or your account.

4.3 Content Moderation

We reserve the right to:

  • Review, modify, or remove any content that violates these Terms
  • Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
  • Report illegal activity to law enforcement
  • Take any action we deem necessary to protect the Platform and its users

5. Intellectual Property

The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by LinkFace and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Platform
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Platform
  • Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
  • Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without permission

6. Courses and Educational Content

6.1 Course Creation

If you create a course on LinkFace, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate course descriptions and information
  • Deliver the content and materials promised in your course
  • Respect intellectual property rights and not infringe on others' content
  • Maintain the quality and accuracy of your course content

6.2 Course Enrollment

When you enroll in a course, you agree to:

  • Use course materials for personal, non-commercial purposes only
  • Not redistribute, resell, or share course content without permission
  • Respect the instructor's intellectual property rights

6.3 Course Fees

Some courses may require payment. Payment terms, refund policies, and pricing are determined by the course creator. LinkFace may charge transaction fees as disclosed at the time of purchase.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Termination

8.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through the Settings page or by contacting us.

8.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform if:

  • You violate these Terms or our policies
  • You engage in fraudulent, illegal, or harmful activity
  • We are required to do so by law
  • You create risk or legal exposure for us
  • Your account has been inactive for an extended period

8.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Platform will immediately cease
  • We may delete your account and associated content
  • Some information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

9.1 Service "As Is"

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9.2 No Guarantees

We do not guarantee that:

  • The Platform will be available at all times or without interruption
  • The Platform will be error-free or secure
  • Any defects will be corrected
  • The Platform will meet your specific requirements

9.3 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LINKFACE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LinkFace and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

  • Your use of the Platform
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another party
  • Content you post or share on the Platform

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be resolved through:

  1. Good Faith Negotiation: Parties will attempt to resolve disputes through good faith negotiation
  2. Mediation: If negotiation fails, disputes may be submitted to mediation
  3. Arbitration: If mediation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules

You waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against LinkFace.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by:

  • Posting the updated Terms on this page
  • Updating the "Last Updated" date
  • Sending email notifications for significant changes
  • Displaying a notice on the Platform

Your continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which LinkFace operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
