To create an account on LinkFace:

1. Click on "Sign Up" in the header or go to the registration page
2. Fill in your information (name, email, password)
3. Verify your email address (check your inbox for activation link)
4. Complete your profile by adding a profile picture and bio
5. Start connecting with others and exploring courses!

After registering, you'll receive an activation email. Click the link in the email to verify your account. If you didn't receive the email:

• Check your spam/junk folder
• Wait a few minutes and check again
• Use the "Resend Activation Email" option on the login page
• Make sure you entered the correct email address

A complete profile helps others learn about you and makes it easier to connect. We recommend including:

• Profile Picture: A clear photo of yourself
• Cover Photo: An image that represents you or your interests
• Bio: A brief description of who you are and what you do
• Location: Your city or region
• Profession: Your current job or field
• Skills: Add skills you have or want to learn

To connect with someone:

1. Visit their profile page
2. Click the "Connect" button
3. Wait for them to accept your connection request
4. Once accepted, you'll see each other's posts in your feed

You can also find suggested connections on your home page and connections page.

To manage your connection requests:

• Go to the "Connections" page
• View pending requests in the "Requests" section
• Click "Accept" to connect or "Decline" to reject
• You can also see requests you've sent that are still pending

On LinkFace, connections work like mutual friendships - both users must accept the connection request. This creates a two-way relationship where:

• You can see each other's posts in your feed
• You can send direct messages to each other
• You can see each other's full profile information

To enroll in a course:

1. Browse courses on the Skills page or search for specific topics
2. Click on a course to view details, reviews, and curriculum
3. Click the "Enroll" button on the course page
4. Start learning! Access your enrolled courses from your profile or the Skills page

To create a course:

1. Go to the Skills page
2. Click "Create Course"
3. Fill in course details (title, description, category, price if applicable)
4. Add course lessons with content, videos, or materials
5. Set course visibility and publish when ready

Make sure to provide quality content and clear instructions for the best learning experience!

Yes! LinkFace tracks your learning progress:

• View completed lessons in each course
• See your overall progress percentage
• Track courses you've enrolled in
• View your learning analytics on the Analytics page

Creating a post is easy:

1. Go to your home feed
2. Click in the "What's on your mind?" box
3. Type your message
4. Optionally add images, videos, or YouTube links
5. Use hashtags (#) to make your post discoverable
6. Click "Post" to share

Hashtags help organize and discover content:

• Use # followed by a word or phrase (e.g., #programming, #photography)
• Click on a hashtag to see all posts with that tag
• Use relevant hashtags to reach more people interested in your topic
• Popular hashtags appear in trending topics

Yes! You can manage your own posts:

• Edit: Click the edit icon on your post, make changes, and save
• Delete: Click the delete icon to permanently remove your post
• Edited posts will show an "(edited)" indicator
• You can only edit or delete your own posts

To change your password:

1. Go to Settings (click your profile picture → Settings)
2. Navigate to the "Security" section
3. Enter your current password
4. Enter your new password (make it strong!)
5. Confirm your new password
6. Click "Update Password"

Control your privacy in Settings:

• Profile Privacy: Choose who can see your profile (Public, Connections, Private)
• Message Settings: Control who can send you messages
• Post Visibility: Set default visibility for your posts
• You can also adjust privacy for individual posts when creating them

To deactivate or delete your account:

1. Go to Settings
2. Scroll to the "Account" section
3. Choose "Deactivate Account" (temporary) or "Delete Account" (permanent)
4. Follow the confirmation steps

Note: Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data, posts, and connections will be removed.
